2.0 Adds LTI Self-Enablement and Simplified Navigation
DALLAS, May 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — LoudCloud Systems announced today the public release of its FASTRAK 2.0 competency based learning platform. This new iteration of FASTRAK, significantly improves the user experience, simplifies course authoring for faculty, introduces the concept of a “path” for learners, expands self-enablement of LTI applications and allows for FASTRAK to be an LTI platform itself, making it easy to connect FASTRAK to other learning platforms.
FASTRAK 2.0 continues LoudCloud’s commitment to both integrated and disaggregated products allowing for LTI app enablement as well as creating FASTRAK as an LTI platform.
Other key updates include:
- The “Path” for both students and faculty creates a CBE centric flow that improves and simplifies access to content, course resources, assessments and grades
- LTI self-enablement that now allows administrators to grant access to any LTI application whether it is in the LoudCloud app store or not
- Simplified Navigation creates a user friendly environment for both the user and faculty without diminishing the robust features of FASTRAK
“By simplifying navigation and course authoring, we have made our environment more user friendly while staying committed to a robust and flexible platform,” said Manoj Kutty, CEO of LoudCloud Systems. “FASTRAK 2.0 meets the needs of direct assessment, credit equivalency or hybrid CBE programs and has been recently selected by five leading institutions that together enroll over 400,000 students.”
